Cookies

Since May 26, 2012, in order to comply with the EU Data Protection Directive 2009/136 / EC, all websites must inform the user and end user about the use of cookies. Cookies are only a small part of this directive. So that they can continue to be used and can be used on a website, it must be pointed out that cookies are used when you visit our website. This notice is included in our legal notice.
  • 1.1 What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small amount of data, often also a unique identifier, which determines which browser of the computer or cell phone (hereinafter referred to as “device”) is used when this page is accessed. It is stored on the hard disk of the device. Each website can send its own cookies to your browser if the browser settings allow it. To protect your privacy, only the browser and country are recorded in order to be able to track user distribution and online traffic.

Our cookies register information about your online preferences so that we can customize the website to your interests. You can adjust the settings on your device to accept all cookies. Every browser is different, so please check the “Help” menu in your browser to find out how to change your cookie settings. Over the course of each visit, every page viewed is recorded to determine reader interest in topics.
  • 1.2 How do we use cookies?
We can use them to collect information about page usage in order to expand the content accordingly. This enables us to see which articles are particularly popular.

Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies to analyze your surfing behavior) are stored, these are treated separately in this privacy policy.

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer system. Of course, you can reject cookies at any time, provided your browser allows this. Please note that you may not be able to use certain functions of this website, or only to a limited extent, if your browser is set so that no cookies (from our website) are accepted.
